His journey in data protection began when he identified that he's passionate about 2 things — data and regulatory policies.
Educationally, he was offered a prestigious full scholarship by the EU to pursue a specialized degree in Economics where he understood and researched in depth about how economic factors and regulatory policies shape various industry landscapes.
During his studies he pursued an internship in the GDPR Program at a major international brewery company where he was given the oppurtunity to collaborate with the company's Data Protection Officers to learn the ways of privacy.
Fast forward to his more recent accomplishment, Aakash went on to work for a company that’s a global business leader in life sciences industry, and there he created a recognized industry offering on GDPR gap analysis — demonstrating his ability to translate privacy risk expertise into scalable, revenue‑generating products. And moreover, he also led there data privacy projects with substantial geographic scope (EU GDPR + US HIPAA) for a major international consumer products company.
